What is a dimmer switch?

A dimmer switch is a device that allows you to adjust the brightness of your lights. Our dimmer switch is buzzing, whats the problem?

There are many causes, we generally find there are 2 reasons-

Incompatible light bulbs
Using the wrong type of bulb for your dimmer switch can cause buzzing. For example, using a non-dimmable LED bulb in a dimmer switch can cause noise.

Overloaded circuit
If too many appliances are connected to the same circuit as the dimmer switch, it can strain the system and cause buzzing.
